UNSCRIPTED SKETCHES #69 – WITH A PIGGYBACK CHALLENGE

Hello Everyone – Arielle here! We’re letting SarahKaye take a little well-deserved “break”! Welcome to Sketch it Saturdays at Unscripted Sketches! If you are just finding Unscripted Sketches, every Saturday morning we post a sketch for the week. Flip it, rotate it… create a card or a scrapbook page with our sketch. There is no right or wrong way, as long as you are using the Unscripted Sketch as the basis of your creation!

This is the third Saturday of the month and that means PIGGYBACK CHALLENGE! For those of you that haven’t seen one of our piggyback challenges before, it’s an optional add-on element to the sketch. Sometimes it’s a color scheme, sometimes it’s to use a particular element like buttons or vellum, etc. It is your choice whether or not to use the piggyback challenge idea and it will not effect consideration for the Top 3.

This week is an opportunity to stretch your creative muscles and think outside the box. Or, in this case, outside the die cut. The challenge is to use something other than the traditional paper punch/die cut for the flowers. There certainly is a place for the traditional paper cut-out flowers, and when used appropriately they can be perfect, but this is an opportunity to dress it up, use a different item entirely, be creative and make your project stand out!
