DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT!!!

Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday in July we will spotlight one of the fabulous members of our design team. At least until we run out of designers. ;) Each and every one of them contributes to the team in their own unique way and this is our way of helping you get to know them! They have each prepared a special Christmas in July blog post on their personal blogs, just click on her name and it will take you to her blog. It might have to do with special memories of Christmastime, a special holiday project they’ve been working on recently, favorite projects they’ve done in the past, perhaps someone might even choose to go with the “July” part and reflect on some of their favorite summers! The blog posts will be as different and special as the designers themselves and they will all be interesting to see! While you’re there, take a look around their blogs, read previous blog posts, see other projects they’ve done. I guarantee you’ll find lots of good stuff to enjoy!

Today’s Designer Spotlight is on…

ALANNA!

“Working as a CPA by day and focusing on my family at night mean that early preparation and organization are the keys for me staying ahead of all the Christmas craziness.  I love the Christmas season but just don’t have the time or energy to get everything done in just the month of December.

Cards and organization is what I’ll be focusing on today. I’ll show you some Christmas projects that are going to help me be better organized and get some holiday preparations done more timely, along with how I get all my Christmas cards made before December. Make sure to keep an eye out because there might just be a Christmas present from me to you along the way”.

That would be soooo great to have my xmas cards done before dec. I was one of those people that sends them out late every year because I’m scrambling to make them

I am kind of lost…wasn’t there a post celebrating your 1 year anniversary? and we were to choose any sketch from the past year to use each week?

    Hi, Susan!

Hm, I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but I’ll tell you what I know. We did have a special blog-iversary post at the beginning of April to celebrate our one year online. It was April 3, the sketch #49 week. You can find it here: http://unscriptedsketches.com/2010/04/celebrate-with-unscripted-sketches-for-our-1-yr-blog-iversary-sketch-49/ We had a special scavenger hunt game that week in addition to our regular stuff.

There was also a special post about the completion of the sketch gallery that challenged readers to use a past sketch. I don’t think it said anything about using one each week, but that would be a great idea! You can find that post here: http://unscriptedsketches.com/2010/06/sketch-gallery-up-and-running/

Right now we are having a month-long Christmas in July event. What a fun idea it would be to use past sketches to take on some of the challenges for Christmas in July!

    I hope that helped!
