QUOTE-IT TUESDAY

Welcome to Quote-It Tuesdays! Every Tuesday in July will be filled with quotes you can use for lots of different topics. They are great for sentiments on cards, for scrapbook layouts and endless other projects! If you use them, we want to see your projects so don’t forget to post a link!

We are even giving away word art FREEBIES!

The full size files are available to download through 4shared.com. Just click on the image at the bottom of the post and it will take you to the download site. If you are new to downloading printables, there are simple instructions following the images.

If you missed it, the first week of quotes and word art was summer and that post can be found here. Last week was family and that post can be found here. We will cover Christmas next week. This week we have quotes about vacation and the beach! And that includes new word art freebies! Enjoy!

—————————————

A vacation is having nothing to do and all day to do it in.
–Robert Orben

We hit the sunny beaches where we occupy ourselves keeping the sun off our skin, the saltwater off our bodies, and the sand out of our belongings.
–Erma Bombeck

Those that say you can’t take it with you never saw a car packed for a vacation trip.
–Author Unknown

Vacation: a period of travel and relaxation when you take twice the clothes and half the money you need.
–Author Unknown

Don’t grow up too quickly, lest you forget how much you love the beach.”
– Michelle Held

The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
–Jacques Cousteau

I honestly think the beach is the only place children actually entertain themselves.”
–Donna McLavy

The beach is in our blood. Everyone in our family returns to the beach instinctively, just like the sea turtles.”
–Sandy Archibald

Instructions for printables. Click the image you want to download. A new window will open. Click the “download now” button and save it to your desktop (or other folder where you will be able to find it easily). Programs you can use to print the word art are: your favorite desktop publishing program, photo editor or Microsoft Word, or any program that opens .jpg files. If you are a beginner with printables, an easy way to print it would be to use Word. Here’s how in MS Word. Open Word, click the drop-down menu “insert > picture > from file”. Select the file you just downloaded and it will insert that picture. If you click on the picture, a box will appear around it. You can grab the box in one of the corners and drag to resize it to the desired print size (if you want an exact measurement, make sure your ruler guides are on). All that’s left is to load the desired paper into your printer and print it!

The word art freebies were made by SarahKaye and are free for personal use only. They may not be sold or distributed in any other manner.

WEEKLY SKETCH

And don’t forget about our regular weekly sketches! This week’s sketch post #64 can be found here. We want to see your projects using this week’s sketch!
