NEW MEMBER OF THE DESIGN TEAM!

Today we want to share a special gift we ourselves recently got at Unscripted- we have a new designer to introduce! Please welcome Linda Beeson! Every Saturday she will be sharing her sketch projects with us here at Unscripted! If you visit her blog, Papercutting Kind of Day, you will find she has lots of fun creating. She started as a rubber stamper and that has evolved to include pretty much anything that you can do with paper. Not to mention glue, ink, stamps, stickers, brads, buttons, ribbon, rub-ons, etc, etc! Take a browse around her blog and let her share her lovely ideas and creations as well as her beautiful sketch projects every Saturday here at Unscripted! Welcome, Linda!

Don’t forget to sign up for Bingo if you haven’t done so already! You only have a few more days before the first words are called on Sunday. The details are here. INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW…

Do you make cards at Christmas time?
Do you make them all or do you only hand-make special ones and send purchased cards as well?
Do you find that you give yourself enough time to make them or are you always rushing to get them mailed in time?
Do you make all the same card or do you make more than one design?
What tips do you have that make it easier on yourself when making lots of the same cards?
Do you even send Christmas/holiday cards?
Do you have a photo of past Christmas/holiday cards to share with us?

Please leave a comment and let us know how you feel about any and all of these questions and please share photos of past Christmas/holiday cards you’ve made. A random winner will be chosen from everyone that posts a comment or photo to receive a little goody! The winner will be announced in one week, Friday, July 9.

I make all of my Christmas cards. I make lots of different kinds, rarely duplicating any of them. I usually dont have to rush at the end getting them ready because I have been working on them for a while.

I’ve done photo cards for the last 4 years, I love making cards, but my mailing list is too long, I’d just stress myself out making so many. So I’ve printed them on shutterfly, much easier!

Wooowhooo LInda. I”m a big fan of Linda’s, in fact I hopped over here this morning because of one of her post! She is just fabulous!

Yes I do make my own Christmas cards and usually wait til the last minute. I do make several of a design, but I can’t stand to do the same design too many times. I like to mix it up so I don’t get bored and end up hating the porcess. In the past I have sent out a combo of boxed and handmade, but last year they were all handmade. Thanks for the fun contest!

Yes, I do make my own Christmas chards. Depends on the year if I am in a rush or not and whether I make more than one design. I posted a card from 2005. Did not have any of the other years left.
