Unscripted Sketches #47 with a piggyback challenge
Posted on | March 20, 2010 | 15 Comments
Hello Everyone! Welcome to Sketch it Saturdays at Unscripted Sketches! If you are just finding Unscripted Sketches, every Saturday morning we post our sketch for the week. Flip it, Rotate it…create a card, or a scrapbook page with our sketch. There is no right or wrong way, as long as you are using the Unscripted Sketch as the basis for your creation.
This week we’ve decided to mix thing up by adding a piggyback challenge on top of the sketch. We challenge you to use paint chip in your design. Some of the designers have chosen to participate so we hope you will also accept the challenge!

*****ANNOUNCEMENT*****
At Unscripted Sketches we strive to make our blog a place for inspiration and creativity, as well as a place for you to share your creativity and be recognized for your work. The DT felt that the 1st uploader winner and random winner was not highlighting the work of our most valuable assets- you!-in the best way so we’ve decided to do away with the 2 so that we can rollout a new program called, Top 3. The Top 3 program starts TODAY. Here’s how it works:
- Each week the DT will choose their Top 3 favorites from that week’s submissions. From the Top 3 a winner will be chosen.
For example:
Participants who submit their work from March 20th to the deadline (see next bullet) of March 24th will be eligible to be chosen as a Top 3 to be announced on March 27th.
- To be considered for Top 3/winner participants need to have their creation uploaded through Mr. Linky by Wednesday by 5pm EST to be eligible for that Saturday’s Top 3.
- Some weeks a prize might be offered by one of our DTs!
- Prizes will only be offered to US residents at this time.
- Prize winners will be directed to contact the DT member offering the prize by contacting that member by email (will be posted on the blog post) with their home address.
- Top 3 and winners will have their work showcased on the blog and quite possibly our Facebook fan page.
- We’ll be coming out with 2 new badges to announce your award on your blog.
Sounds like fun? Great! So don’t forget- this new program starts today! To be eligible for the Top 3 submit your work by Wednesday, March 24th at 5pm EST. Now get crafting!

Ohhhh! Love the top three idea! You feel like some actually looked at your card and liked it! Good idea!!
Also, intrigue with the paint chip idea. Going to Meijer tomorrow and guess where my first stop is? That is right, the paint area:)

Loving the new concept
And if I had a paint sample, I would use it. The only one I have is all bent up, with writing and paint on it LOL

Sorry, I put new DT after my name by mistake. I put it on for the challenge I am a DT for and missed taking it off when posted here. I tried to take it off but can’t. Maybe you can. I love your challenges. Maybe it was wishful thinking. So Sorry. I need to slow down.

Love this challenge- Hope I’ve entered details right- if not sorry- use paint chips a lot so that part wasn’t really a challenge for me. Thanks for the inspiration

I love the idea of using a paintchip. The sketch fits perfectly for that. I didn’t have any handy when I sat to make the card, but I am so going to try it again with one.

Love the sketch and love the idea of the paint chip, When I went to home depot to pick one up, it took me forever to pick a color, so I got 20 of them. I guess I’ll have to use the rest in other cards!!
